Set up and Use Hot Corners: Do you know anything about Hot Corners? iPadOS 13.3 adds a Hot Corners feature that similarly works as it does on the Mac. By clicking and holding in each of the four corners of your iPad, you can activate automated actions. Here’s how to set up and use it.
Set up Hot Corners on your iPad
Open the Settings on your iPad and then follow these steps to set up your Hot Corners.
Firstly choose Accessibility.
Then select Touch under Physical and Motor.
Now scroll toward the bottom and choose Hot Corners.
Then select the actions you want for each of the four corners, or just one or two if you like.
You’ll see many choices, from opening your Dock to restarting your iPad to accessing Spotlight
Use Hot Corners on iPad
Once you set up your corners, simply click to the corner you want to perform the action you pick.
If you don’t like the amount of time you need to hold your mouse cursor in place for the Hot Corners, you can then adjust this.
Simply go back to your Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch where you set up the Hot Corners. You can change the Dwell Control using the plus and minus buttons for the number of seconds right below that setting.
This comes handy if you’ve already paired a Bluetooth mouse with your iPad.
If you really enjoy using Hot Corners on your Mac for quick access to actions, then you’ll love the feature on your iPad too.
