Export Apple Card Monthly Transactions: Follow this brief step-by-step guide to learn how to export Apple Card monthly statements as a CSV spreadsheet. However, it can be loaded into financial planning apps like Mint or Quicken.

Well, announced at Apple’s media event on March 25, 2019, and released on August 6 of that year. Initially, Apple Card did not support exporting one’s financial data for extra analysis in third-party budgeting software. However, third-party software like Lunch Money, YNAB, Mint, Quicken and the like. However, until January 2020 that Apple announced the ability to export transactions to a spreadsheet as comma-separated-values i.e the CSV file format.

In August 2019, cardholders enable to export transactions to a PDF. Apart from the PDF and CSV options. Soon, Apple will add support for the OFX (Open Financial Exchange) file format while exporting Apple Card transactions.

How to Export Apple Card transactions as CSV

Follow the steps below carefully to export your monthly transactions to a CSV spreadsheet.

Step 1:

Firstly, Open the Wallet app on your iPhone with iOS 12.4 or later.

Step 2:

Then click Apple Card.

Step 3:

Click Card Balance under your card.

Step 4:

Under the headline Statements, click the monthly statement you would like to export.

Step 5:

Click Export Transactions.

Step 6:

The spreadsheet using your transactions will appear on the screen. Press that Share icon in the top-right corner and select where you would like the file store or how to share it. You can also email or print the file, store it to your iCloud Drive or on the device itself via the Files app, share via iMessage or other apps, and so forth.

Step 7:

Now import the saved CSV file to your favorite money-management software.

Unfortunately, Apple doesn’t let third-party services automatically pull data from your Apple Card account. So you must do this manually. Make sure that some financial apps like Quicken don’t support direct import of the CSV file format without prior conversion.

According to this support document, you can only export transactions from the earlier month.

However, Apple can’t allow exporting mixed transactions from various months or store partial monthly transactions. Also, for those wondering, a monthly statement includes any payments made with your card. Along with refunds on purchases you returned and credits you might have received from transaction discussions.

Apple Card uses the MasterCard payment network also it offers some nice perks, including no fees whatsoever. The card can’t charge any late, cash advance, international, overdraft or annual credit card fees. However, the only fee applied is the applicable interest charge when the user is carrying a balance.
