Do You Want To Rip iTunes To MP3?

Step 1:

Head over to iTunes on your Mac, then move to the menu bar located at the top and tap on iTunes > Preferences.

PC users also find the setting by moving to Edit > Preferences instead.

Step 3:

When the menu appears, check the General tab is chosen, then tap on the Import Settings button under the window.

In the other window, you’ll then view a section marked Import Using. Tap on the dropdown menu here and then choose MP3 Encoder.

Under it is another section using the title Setting. This enables you to state the quality of the tracks created. The higher the setting, the size of the file increases, so select the one that suits your preferences. If you want to save the settings tap OK.

Once done, any CDs can rip into iTunes from now on will use the MP3 format rather than AAC. If you want to change an existing track to MP3, simply find the song in your iTunes library and highlight it.

Then, head over to File > Convert > Create MP3 version, and iTunes will copy the existing tracks but in the latest format.

Once done, you can easily move the tracks to other devices, knowing they’ll happily play without a problem.
