CustomPlayer Customize Colors

January 25, 2020 By admin_how_OS Leave a Comment

CustomPlayer Customize Colors: Whenever you listen to a song, iOS puts a widget on your handset’s Lock screen so that you can view what’s playing and also interact with the playback as you see fit. As useful as this is, it’s specifically unfortunate that Apple doesn’t let you customize the widget’s aesthetics in any way.

Hopefully, it doesn’t have to be that way if you’re jailbroken. The latest launched and free jailbreak tweak dubbed CustomPlayer by iOS developer iCraze. It allows users to colorize the Now Playing widget however they like.

In the example mention in the above screenshot, you can view just a few examples of a colorized Now Playing widget by way of CustomPlayer. Whether or not you like the color options in our examples is a broach point as you can pick whatever colors you may want for yourself.

While installing CustomPlayer, users may find a dedicated preference pane in the Settings app where they can customize CustomPlayer to their liking:

Here, you can:
  • Allow or disable CustomPlayer on demand
  • Also, use a solid color for the Now Playing interface
  • Hide the Lock screen’s media player completely
  • Allow or disable the solid color choice
  • Pick a solid color to colorize the Now Playing widget with
  • Allow or disable the gradient color choice
  • Select first and second gradient color choices

Also, the developer includes a Respring button in the preference pane. As it helps you to save any changes that you make to the default settings.

Not all jailbreakers are obsessed with colorizing everything. But if you have a propensity to make your iPhone look completely different than it comes out of the box. Then it’s the best way to stand out from the crowd.

Conclusion:
