clearallmesg allows you to delete messages app and conversation. Chronic texters know very well how easy it can be to fill iOS’ Messages app with active conversation cells? But we thought what happens when it comes time to delete them all?

You could swipe and delete each one individually. You could also tap the ‘Edit’ button and select each one individually before deleting them. But a new and latest released and free jailbreak tweak called clearallmesg by iOS developer Mr. Yacine. This tweak takes things one step further and easy to make deleting messages in bulk. It also allows you to delete messages quickly and efficently.

As the name implies clearallmesg can be used to delete all Message app and conversation with the tap of a button. As shown in the screenshot examples below, clearallmesg puts a new button ‘Delete All’ at the top right of the Messages app after you’ve tapped on the native Edit button, enabling you to clear everything without selecting or swiping anything.

To prevent accidents, which is very common nowadays and the human race is prone to making the developer incorporates a two-step process. Upon tapping on the Delete All button, the tweak asks you to confirm if you’re certain or you want to delete all your conversations. But make sure there’s no undoing this action.

Particularly we enjoy how the tweak directly incorporates into Apple’s native Messages app interface. Because it offers users a seamless message-deleting experience that seems inline with Apple’s modern design standards. Moreover, it also allows you to accomplish a useful task in fewer steps, which is great from an accessibility standpoint.

Unsurprisingly Perhaps, the tweak doesn’t come with any options to configure. As it can do what it intends right out of the box.

If you are really interested in trying clearallmesg, then you can download it for free from the Packix repository in Sileo or Cydia. Also, the tweak supports all jailbroken iOS 11 and 12 devices.
