Asus ROG Phone 2 Ultimate Edition

ASUS only recently announced the Asus ROG Phone II, but now as we start with IFA 2019. The manufacturer is already delivering a fresh variant of its gaming handset, revealing the new Ultimate Edition. Not too much has changed as compared to the original ROG Phone II (now dubbed the Elite Edition). Other than the color scheme, faster storage, and an upgraded LTE download speeds, the hardware’s identical. In this article, we are going to talk about Asus ROG Phone 2 Ultimate Edition. The Ultimate Edition comes in a matte black finish, as opposed to its sibling’s glossy exterior. The storage is upped to 1TB, However, the standard version comes with 512GB. Download speeds max out at 2Gbps using Cat 20 LTE. Although you will likely rarely ever be able to use that on any but the most favorable networking conditions.

The standard Elite Edition hits shelves starting the end of September and will set you back €900. However, the Ultimate version will be sold in October starting at €1.200 – the question remains whether its minor upgrades are really worth the €300 hike. US prices have not been released yet. Now available in the US, but LTE only properly works on AT&T

The ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition is now available for purchase in the US for $1100. but just like the regular version, it is also only attractive if you Are an AT&T customer. It’s missing T-Mobile’s band 71. So you won’t be able to use LTE for the most part, and CDMA carriers Verizon, Sprint, and US Cellular are nOt supported at all.

With that in mind, you can get the device in the ASUS online store or on Amazon and B&H Photo.
