Amazon Export Order History to a Spreadsheet

February 14, 2020 By admin_how_OS Leave a Comment

Amazon Export Order History: If you purchase products on Amazon, you’re among many. And a time comes when you need to not only view all of your purchases for some time. But also hold onto a record of them. You might need to display expenses for business supplies. Also, you just want to keep track of your Amazon spending.

Whatever your reason may be, Amazon makes it quite easy to export your purchases to a spreadsheet that you can store or share and here’s how.

Generate an Order History Report on Amazon

Now move to the Amazon website and log in. Once you log in, tap this link to the Order History Reports.

Note: According to the Amazon Help page, you can also get to the Order History Reports in the Your Account area of the site. However, after searching, I was unable to find it. Make sure if the above link doesn’t work for you. Move to the Amazon Help page and tap Order History Reports from there.

Once you arrive on the Order History Reports page, the rest is easy.

Step 1:

Select the Report Type from Items, Orders and Shipments, Refunds, or Returns.

Step 2:

Choose the Start and End Dates for the report. Also, you can choose one of the Quick Set Options to the right.

Step 3:

Optionally, you can also provide the report a name.

Step 4:

Tap Request Report.

Once you request the report, it takes only a minute or so for it to generate. But make sure, it depends on the time frame and number of items in the report.

You can also access the report on that same screen at the bottom. Also, you should receive an email with a link to the report and also grab it from the Downloads area of your browser.

View your Amazon purchase history

When you click to open the report, it will also open with your default spreadsheet application like Numbers or Excel, until you specify otherwise. However, the report also contains lots of details for the items like order date and ID, price, shipment date, payment type, tax exemption information, and much more.

Conclusion:

If you want to review and store a record of your Amazon purchases. This trick should help. And make sure that you can also use that Order History Report for refunds and returns if you like to as well.
