Activate Navigation Gestures on Galaxy S20: Samsung offers navigation keys by default on the Galaxy S20. But it’s quite easy to switch to navigation gestures. However, going the gesture route frees up real estate under the screen. Also, it’s the easiest way to navigate the interface. Samsung also offers many navigation choices on the S20, and here’s how to begin.

How to activate and customize navigation gestures on the Galaxy S20

Follow the steps to activate and customize navigation gestures on Galaxy S20:

Step 1:

Firstly, Open Settings from the home screen.

Step 2:

Click Display.

Step 3:

Move down to the bottom of the page.

Step 4:

Choose the Navigation bar.

Step 5:

Choose Full-screen gestures.

Step 6:

Click More options to configure gestures on your S20.

Step 7:

Select Swipe from the bottom if you like Samsung’s default navigation gestures. You’ll also Swipe up from three designated zones under the phone. However, the left-most section is to move back to in-app. Down the middle is to access the home screen and swipe up from the bottom-right side to see the overview menu.

Step 8:

Choose Swipe from sides and bottom if you like Android 10’s default navigation gestures. In this mode, you’ll swipe inward from either side of the screen to move back. Just swipe up from the bottom of the screen to move to the home screen, and then swipe up and hold to access the overview menu.

Step 9:

Select the gesture sensitivity from the slider under the screen once you check out what navigation you’re comfortable with. There are 4 sensitivity levels to choose from.

With One UI 2.0 on the Galaxy S20, you can select what gestures to use. If you like to use the older navigation keys, you don’t need to modify anything. You can also select from Samsung’s gesture navigation or the default Android 10 navigation gestures if you want to try something new.
